Benjamin Kloss

Benjamin Kloss: Ben is Co-Director for Plug and Play’s two Vienna-based verticals Smart Cities and Travel & Hospitality EU. In his role, he is in charge of all ventures activities in Vienna, while managing and growing the partner ecosystem of the newly established platform. Before his transition to Vienna in late 2019, Ben was an early employee and had a significant role in shaping Plug and Play’s Stuttgart-based mobility vertical “Startup Autobahn” to become one of Europe’s biggest and most successful innovation platforms, with more than 30 partners, including Daimler, Porsche, Hyundai, BASF, Bosch and BP. He holds a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, studied in San Francisco and Boston, worked in Melbourne in a nursing home for a year, and gained practical experience in the automotive industry at Porsche, where he supported the International Sales Planning and Reporting activities
