Tomasz Zjawiony – Entrepreneur, President and General Director of the Chamber of Commerce in Katowice, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Slovenia.
He managed companies on the Polish market, created and ran branches of companies with German, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese capital. Member of Supervisory Boards and Management Boards of companies, including the State Treasury. He advises investors and international corporations. The organizer of the „European Congress of Small and Medium Enterprises”, one of the largest events dedicated to the SME sector.
Graduate of Management Studies – Executive MBA – Master of Business Administration; Institut d’Administration des Enterprises IAE d’Aix-en-Provence Graduate School of Management in Marseille – Paul Cezanne University in Marseille. He obtained his scientific preparation from doctoral studies, and previously studied at the School of Management at the University of Silesia and the Silesian International Trade School. He gained practical training during numerous internships, incl. at the Economic and Commercial Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Paris, but most of all by running economic and social projects. He specializes in trade in Polish and international markets. In recent years, he has worked for foreign corporations: Italian, Spanish, and German, where he was responsible for the development of investments in Central Europe. He is the initiator of many social and entrepreneurial projects. He also works as a member of numerous economic bodies, incl. Vice-chairman of the Silesian Experts Forum at the Marshal of the Śląskie Voivodeship, the Economic Council at the Silesian Voivodeship, the Social and Economic Council of the Silesian Metropolis, the Voivodeship Electromobility Council, the Council of the Silesian University of Technology, and also as the Chairman of the Committee for Small and Medium Enterprises at the Polish Chamber of Commerce.
