Effective 1 January 2020, he commenced in his role as President of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). Prior to this, since May 2017, served as the European representative on WADA’s Executive Committee. In 2015-2019, he was the Minister of Sport and Tourism in Poland. Former international-level sprinter (400 m, relay). Bronze medalist in 2007 at the World Athletics Championships in Osaka, Japan. Ambassador of Silesia.
